How to Buy Cheap Concert Tickets
Looking for cheap Concert tickets? Don’t want to deal with a ticket scalper or get ripped off?
These days when it comes to Concert tickets it all comes down to Economics 101 a.k.a. “the law of supply and demand”. The greater the demand for a concert, the harder it will be to get in the door for a low price, but it is not impossible. The closer that it gets to showtime, the price of the ticket becomes less valuable as the ticket may become potentially worthless.
Here are some tips to get the cheapest Concert tickets possible:
Check Stubhub, TicketsNow and other ticket exchange sites frequently as prices change often. Wait until a few days or hours before the event you have time on your side. Check Stubhub, eBay, Craigslist for good deals
Go to or call the Concert venue box office the morning of the show, a lot of time there are still tickets at the box office for face value.
Check Ticketmaster or Live Nation’s website in the days before the event. As the stage crew setup the actually concert stage tickets are released to the general public in an unannounced ”ticket drop”
Wait until the concert starts, shop around for the best price, see if the ticket scalper will walk into the event with you and you will pay him when safely inside the venue.
If a Concert is outside and the weather forecast calls for rain or bad weather the market price of the Concert ticket usually goes down.
Generally, weeknight concerts are usually priced much less than concerts on the weekend.
