Green Day has released its 2009 summer concert tour dates. Green Day will hit 38 cities in the US beginning July 3rd in Seattle. Green Day’s 8th studio album “2st Century Breakdown” will be released on May 15th. Tickets for Green Day will go onsale to the general public beginning May 9, with other shows going on sale May 15th and 16th. Tickets are very reasonably priced at $49.50-$27.00.

Stubhub ranks the top ten US sports and concert tickets in its database. The rankings for April 23rd shows the Kentucky Derby galloping to atop the events list followed by Red Sox vs Yankees games. Concerts on the list include George Strait opening the New Cowboys Stadium, Bruce Springsteen in NJ and the Dead at MSG.

AC/DC will bring its hugely successful Black Ice concert tour back to the US this summer playing a select few dates across the US. More tour dates are expected at a later date. Tickets for the first five concerts on the list will begin to go onsale to the general public beginning April 11.
